$RELAY token

Launch status: not yet live

$RELAY has not launched. It will be launched through the Pons v2 launchpad with a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000. There is no contract address, no market, no presale and no allocation yet. Launch costs incurred on RelayPad today accrue as burn credits (150,000 $RELAY so far) and are settled against supply at token generation.

Launching burns and stakes $RELAY

Creating a token on RelayPad requires 2500 $RELAY: 60% burned permanently and 40% staked against the launched token. Permissionless does not mean costless — the cost exists to make spam launches unattractive.

Protocol fee skim

A 30 bps fee on trading activity across tokens launched through RelayPad is intended to split two ways:

  • 70% funds a $RELAY buyback-and-burn.
  • 30% routes to the creator of the token that generated the fee.

Why the creator share matters

Creator revenue is tied to sustained trading activity, which in practice tracks a real, growing holder base. That aligns with the same thing the unlock rule measures — though it does not, by itself, prevent someone from faking distribution.
